Alone...

My town, Labin, and it's surrounding villages were once known as one of the biggest coal mining centers in former Yugoslav republic. This is picture of lift tower, which pinpoints the center of once very prosperous branch of economy for our town.



...Abandoned and alone, defying the sea of mist, proudly stands the mining tower, as monument and the remembrance to all fallen miners and strange times now far far behind us...
